Fibreglass mesh Z145 anti-alkaline impregnated
PROPERTIES
- Weave Type: Gauze
- Mass per Unit Area: 145 g/m2
- Mesh Count: 5,0mm x 5,0mm ± 5 %
- Length: 50m ± 5 %
- Width: 1,0 m ± 5 %
- Resin Swell: 18 - 20 %
- Grab Tensile Strength: 1500(N/50mm)
APPLICATION
Reinforcing the outer layer of adhesive-putty mix in building lagging systems. Good tensile strength, even and durable weave, alkaline-resistant. Start applying the reinforcing layer by applying the adhesive, then cut off the desired strip of ZALTAN 145 mesh and press it into the adhesive in several places using a toothed trowel, then immerse. Subsequent mesh strips must be applied with at least 10cm overlap, 15cm in corners. Finally, grind out the adhesive layer until even and smooth. Recommended temperature for conducting lagging work is between 5 and 25°C. |

Fibreglass mesh Z60
PROPERTIES
- Weave Type: Gauze
- Mass per Unit Area: 60g/m2
- Mesh Count: 2,5mm X 2,5mm ± 5%
- Length: 100 m ± 1%
- Width: 1m ± 5%
- Resin Swell: 18 - 19%
- Grab Tensile Strength: 600 N/50mm.
APPLICATION
Plaster finishing putty, ceramic surfaces, cellular concrete blocks, brick and others; also for retarding cracks in plaster, cement and cement-lime stucco, and for finishing of those surfaces. When applying a new layer of plaster, cracked, peeling, and fly plaster must be removed before proceeding. Clean the surface of dust and grease. Reinforce the prepared surface with deep-penetrating primer. Crack-prone areas (e.g. adjacent to other materials) must be reinforced with a strip of mesh 15cm wide. Apply a thin layer of plaster, immerse the ZALTAN 60 mesh on 10cm overlay and even out. A reinforcing layer prepared in this way has better adherence, cracking resistance and impact strength. A very good surface for paint coating and wallpapers. |
